Few firms are actively moving to LawMaster; instead, the market trend is migration away from it to modern cloud-native platforms such as Clio, Actionstep, or Smokeball. LawMaster was acquired by Actionstep in October 2024, and the product's long-term roadmap should be confirmed with the vendor. Replacing LawMaster can be complex due to its deep integration of accounting, payroll, and practice management in a single platform.
